BRISA Chef knife blades

Our Chef´s knives are the result of inspiration from all over the world. Borrowing ideas from our own hunting knives, Japanese cutlery and western modern Kitchen knives, our Chef 185 is a staple of any outdoors enthusiasts´ kitchen.

Utilizing the same modern production techniques, our kitchen series are as rugged as our outdoor knives. A very strong fulltang construction makes these extremely durable. Due to high cost, this construction is very rarely seen in kitchen knives. However, we feel that the knives used the most, ie. kitchen knives, should be as durable as possible.

All knives and blades in the Brisa Chef series use the same steel as many of our hunting knives, Sandvik 12C27, further increasing the promise of durability. Rockwell is kept at a moderate 56-57 HRC to avoid risk of chipping when cutting into bone, or even a hard surface. The moderate hardness also means that these blades are very easy to sharpen.

All blades are ready hardened, sharpened and ready for assembly
