Great gyoto knife blade
Review by
I wanted a great looking and functional gyoto to add to my kitchen. I had this knife on my list and finally bit the bullit to get it. Did not disappoint, looks great, functions even better and handles equally good. A few pointers: it does have a thin, but still V edge grind, I have ground a single bevel on it for my personal one, but both would be extremely sharp either way. I did see a small scratch on the knife what would be a bit of a bummer were it not that I could grind it off fairly easily, but its a high polish so scratches will occur on the upper part. For the price its very good, you won't regret buying this. My handle is an octagonal handle made of stablized walnut burl wood, brass and Buffalo horn Bolster, and it looks so freaking awesome, handle is perfectly balanced feels nimble and light even though its pretty much the same as my normal kitchen knife.
