Very popular steel for damascus/pattern welded blades. High nickel content yealds excellent contrast when etched. Most usual combinations are with UHB20C / 1095 or 1084 steels. 15N20 is highly regarded for its exceptional toughness, duarbility and attractive aesthetics. With its high nickel content, it offer superior resistance to deformation and chipping, making it ideal for demanding cutting tasks.
