Stainless knife steel from Uddeholm
This stainless grade – “the edge steel” – was originally developed for the production of razor blades, but is also used for scalpel blades and knives. High sharpness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Perfect for wet enviroments, it delivers consistent performance across a wide range of cutting tasks.

Heat treatment:
Hardening temperature 1025C - (1080C after -70C deep freezing)
Tempering time 30 minutes
100C/212F - HRC 63 - (65)
200C/392F - HRC 60 - (62)
